We make industrial kitchen equipement in Inventor. For or production we send the dxf files to a laser company. We had great comment about the way we send the file to the company using the Publish Tool. Wonderfull Tool Thanks. This is really a great tool. Especially the configuration of the filename and extensions. I am using this Add in for a long time and I feel this Add in is wonderful!

The Add in can easily unfold the ipt model to dxf. It is loved that the dwg file is named by this Add in with the thinkness and quantity and others of the sheetmetal metal, It save my time.

Formerly I unfolded the ipt model to dwg one by one. And I opened the dwg file to explode the closed line. So this Add in save my time. Publish Tool. Pepping Mechanical Design. Digitally signed app. Configure the layers for cut and etch lines. Configure the file names and store the files in different folders of material and thickness.

Its a great idea and we will look into it. I've just downloaded and used this for the first time and I have to say its a great little app.

I'd like to see the addition of a prefix or suffix option based on iProperties i. We have machines that consists of several hundred drawings. With this app I cannot go back to manually plotting pdf's. Good app, easy to use. First of all great app! We are working on an option to update the drawing prior to printing. That would be very helpfull. If drawings are updated before generate pdf. I was not aware of this, and i sended to my client out-dated drawings. So i had to run an update design task with taskmanager.

But it takes long. Other reviewers have done a better job than i can. Suffice to say it's an awesome free app that does just what i need. Also before you "Find All idw's" or the other thing make sure you do a Rebuild All on whatever assembly your using. Without doing this i have found it may grab older parts no longer associated with the assmbly. This is NOT a criticism lol. FYI, i use it for creating a drawing pack in one pdf combine pdfs. Myself and the project manager like being able to flip through all the drawings with one pdf.

Very useful aplication, it should be a long time ago by default instaled in Inventor. When seraching for drawings, Drawing Porter picks up also drawings for referenced parts, which are actually not needed in given assembly. App works great and saves a lot of time. Thanks for the great work! Hi, I would like to know whether it is possible to have all drawings to a single PDF document? This is by the most useful free I use for Inventor. This is perfect for exporting an assembly drawing or PDF pack to an external manufacturer. One feature I would like if it wasn't much troublt to add would be to drag and drop files to open, instead of opening a seperate explorer window to navigate to the files you want to add. Perfect time saver, but can only pick up drawings from C : so this results pratically useless for users that works with Vault, this options will be available in the future?

I really love the fact that the App automatically picks up what page size and orientation the idw is even if you do different sizes and orientations at the same time. Dankie Pieter! My company both loves and hate Design Checker. We love it because we can now easily find problems in our models before they can cause problems. We also hate it because we can no longer ignore the problems we have in our models since Design Checker now finds them for us. We are using Design Checker with about 10 mechanical users. It's really helping to up our level of consistency.

Still has some quirks and could use some additions but is highly beneficial. After fixing some small issues with help from autodesk I have to say.. Autodesk Inventor is released as a single language pack installation regardless of the medium used for delivery. However, downloading and installing additional language packs will enable you to run Autodesk Inventor in languages other than that initially received. Each language pack creates a shortcut in the Start menu which loads a different user interface language upon start up.

The general product launch icon remembers the current language as the last language used and launches Inventor again using that language. Download and install an Autodesk Inventor language pack for use within all installations of Inventor Once the new language pack is installed, you will see additional Start menu and desktop Icons, with the language appended to the product name, to run Autodesk Inventor in the additional language now enabled.
